Position Title: Building maintenance
Type of Position: Full Time (hourly)
Reports To: Clark Sports Center Dir. Building and Grounds
Overview
Under the direction of the Dir. Building and Grounds, the building maintenance position is responsible for the daily operation and preventative maintenance of building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire systems, swimming pool systems, and general building repairs.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required.
- Minimum four years of related employment experience in general maintenance.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

- Ability to operate required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Able to deal with a variety of situations requiring independent action, judgement, and initiative.
- Must be receptive to change, adapting to changing circumstances, and making suggestions for improvements.
- Must be able to work independently.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conduct routine, non-licensed inspections of the facility’s buildings including all aspects of mechanical systems and condition of both main facility and maintenance building.
- Prepare for and perform routine and preventative maintenance to all systems.
- Determine materials, equipment and tools needed to complete a project.
- Willingness and ability to perform other duties as assigned.

- Occasionally required to lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.
- Able to meet specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Occasionally work at heights of up to 35ft on a ladder or in a man lift.
- Occasionally required to climb on roofs, handle a variety of tools requiring dexterity, and conduct internal examinations of equipment and systems

Rate of Pay: $17.00/hour
