Pickleball Rules & Guidelines
Please adhere to the following rules and guidelines while using indoor or outdoor Pickleball Courts:
- Pickleball is not an exclusive club, and we are not a pickleball facility. We are a Health and Fitness facility that tries to find opportunities for people to do all kinds of recreational activities. Regardless of ability, anyone who fits the ages and membership requirements is welcome to play.
- Any rudeness to staff or other members is grounds for removal from the facility.
- All times will be posted to our website and Club Automation.
- In the event of a snow day, holiday, or another day that school is out, Open Play and Lessons will be cancelled. League night cancellations will be made on a case-by-case basis.
- Timing is non-negotiable. The nets will be set up and taken down by staff only. We will have a 15-minute window before each playing time that is designated for set-up. Players who show up early will be asked to wait outside until it is time to play.
- We have a lineup of programs and activities for all ages; the gym floor is a shared area and will not be available for pickleball play outside of the times previously set. The doubles squash court will be the practice area for people to set up a net and it is first come, first serve.
- We will have a table set up by the gym floor doors. When we have over 12 players during any time, you may use that table to stack your paddles and form a queue. Once your paddle is up, it is your turn to play.
- Regardless of ability, no one will be turned away and not given the opportunity to play.
- This schedule will run from November 1 – December 22, 2024. In December, staff will meet and discuss keeping the same schedule or changing it from January to April.
- Until November 1, 2024, pickleball will remain on the outdoor courts regardless of weather.
- Once outdoor courts have closed for the season, all pickleball will be played inside.
